The Hyatt Regency Hotel Renovation
Hyatt Regency Long Beach in Southern California has emerged from a $30 million renovation to its lobby, 258 guestrooms, and club lounge. In the guestrooms and suites, Chicago-based design firm Anderson Miller has implemented a neutral color palette featuring pops of deep azure blue, emphasizing the hotel’s waterfront location. The distinctive beach aesthetic also incorporates light wood tones, leather headboards, plush navy blue carpeting, and soft wool throws. Baths now feature fully illuminated and backlit mirrors, raised vessel sink basins, and plank-tiled showers with handheld sprays.
Meanwhile, suites include kitchens with quartered white oak cabinetry and marble islands, as well as custom millwork bookcases. The residential-style Royal and Palm Presidential Suites boast multiple seating areas; full dining areas; master bedrooms outfitted with floor-to-ceiling woodwork; showers with waterproof TVs, multiple sprays, a wall fountain, and chromatherapy; deep soaking tubs; and private outdoor terraces.
