Marriott Newport Beach Hotel Renovation
With its premium location overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa truly celebrates the relaxed California coastal lifestyle. The hotel is celebrating 30 years of excellence in Orange County with a Dedication Ceremony unveiling the $70 million renovation.
Guests now enter the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa through the newly designed porte cochere and experience first hand the spacious lobby, feeling like they have stepped into a brand new hotel. The grand lobby looks out onto scenic views of the Pacific and lush landscaping, creating the perfect backdrop for lounging on comfy chaises by the hotel’s pool and whirlpool while thirsty sunbathers make use of a new poolside bar.
All of the hotel’s 532 guest rooms have been stylishly redesigned, creating private enclaves of comfort. Each room includes the newly introduced Marriott bed, with an 11-inch mattress with feather bed topper, 300-thread- count Egyptian cotton sheets, sheeted duvet, six down pillows and a colorful bed scarf. Flat screen TVs, luxurious bathrooms with glass-encased full showers, granite countertops and premium bathroom fixtures-along with wood and glass accents-create a sophisticated feel for the nautically inspired rooms. The hotel has also added 20 luxury suites as part of its renovation, including five penthouse suites with ocean views. Two of the penthouses are 1,500 square feet Presidential Suites, each with connecting bedrooms, marble bathrooms and plasma screen TVs.
